5 Day Food & Local Community Tour

Embark on a journey through the stunning landscapes of Petra, Wadi Rum, Dead Sea, and Amman while savoring the Flavors of Jordan and relishing in local cuisine. Engage with the Bedouin community for a cooking demonstration and relish in a traditional Bedouin desert barbecue. Enjoy a lunch prepared by locals amidst the desert.   • Day 1 Airport - Amman

    Upon arrival in Amman, the capital city of Jordan, you will be greeted at Queen Alia International Airport. - Spend the rest of the day unwinding at your hotel in Amman before settling in for the night.

    Day 2 Amman City

    After a complimentary breakfast, your guide will escort you the downtown of Amman where you first visit the Amman Citadel overlooking the old city. This historic site is a cherished destination in Jordan. Nearby, the Amman Roman Theatre, over 2000 years old, once accommodated 5000 spectators and continues to host events. Afterwards, take a leisurely stroll in the vibrant downtown area, Al Balad, abundant with gift shops, cafes, restaurants, a fresh produce market, and a gold souq. Savour bits and pieces of Jordanian food here. Don’t miss the opportunity to taste the renowned Jordanian dessert, ‘Kunafeh’. Finally, return to your Amman hotel for the night.

    Day 3 Amman - Petra

    After enjoying a complimentary breakfast at your Amman hotel, your journey commences with a three-and-a-half-hour drive to Petra. Upon arrival, embark on a guided tour of this ancient city, which dates back to 7000 BC. Spend the afternoon exploring iconic sites such as the Treasury building at the end of the narrow Siq passage. Discover the Royal Tombs, Theatre, City Centre, temples, and climb the 900 steps to reach the Monastery perched on the mountain. For a less strenuous path, an alternative route is available. In the evening, enjoy a complimentary dinner prepared by local Bedouin people, where you can savor authentic Jordanian cuisine. Rest for the night at a hotel in Petra.

    Day 4 Petra - Wadi Rum

    After enjoying a complimentary breakfast at your Petra hotel, head to the Wadi Rum desert, known for its majestic rocks and red sands. Embark on a 3-hour 4WD jeep tour with a complimentary desert lunch prepared by a Bedouin. Relax at a comfortable desert camp in the afternoon and opt for a camel ride at sunset (additional fees may apply). Enjoy a complimentary authentic Bedouin Barbecue dinner and engage in post-dinner activities with Bedouin families, or stargaze under the night sky. Spend the night at a cozy deluxe camp in Wadi Rum.

    Day 5 Wadi Rum - Dead Sea - Airport

    Consider adding a sunset hot air balloon ride in Wadi Rum (at an extra cost). Begin your day with a buffet breakfast at the camp, then embark on a 3.5-hour drive to the Dead Sea. Enjoy floating in the salt lake, capturing the iconic image of leisurely reading a newspaper or book while effortlessly buoyant. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty and therapeutic properties of the Dead Sea. Witness the breathtaking sunset over the Dead Sea. Following sunset, you will be driven to Queen Alia International Airport (timing depends on your flight, with a short stop at the Dead Sea).

Half Day Amman Food Tour

Experience the Flavors of Downtown Amman and Immerse Yourself in the Atmosphere. During this tour, you'll have the opportunity to sample some of the renowned Jordanian cuisine, including the delightful Kunafeh. Afterwards, take a leisurely walk along Rainbow Street and visit a trendy café.

  • You will be picked up from your hotel in Amman and driven to the downtown area. During this guided walking tour, you will have the opportunity to try various famous Jordanian dishes, such as the national dish, Mansaf, and the popular sweet, Kunafeh. Then, you will visit a trendy cafe in Rainbow Street. Finally, you will be returned to your hotel after the tour.

Half Day Cooking Class with Locals in Amman or in Petra

You will visit the local community in Amman or Petra to observe and learn about some of the renowned Jordanian cooking. The menu will be a surprise until the chef reveals it.

  • You will be collected from your hotel in Amman or Petra and taken to a local household to experience a demonstration of delightful Jordanian dishes. After preparing the dishes, you will enjoy them while engaging in conversations with locals about their lives and traditions. Finally, you will be returned to your hotel.
