4-Day Jordan Tour

‘As my first solo trip, Jordan was a unique experience arranged by Jordan Marvels Travel.

There was a detailed itinerary, and great communication prior and during the tour and their support was superb.

Even though I only booked Petra, Wadi Rum and Dead Sea tour with them, I still had valuable advice on visiting Amman from Mariko, and Mohammad for the rest of my trip.

In two days I explored the building on the hill city of Amman by walking to down town, getting to know the culture and browsing the shops. Walking down the fruit/veg and spice market with all that aromatic smell was so delightful. I didn't experience any harassment by men or shop venders at all.

Having falafel and hummus at the traditional Hashem Restaurant and then ‘Knafeh’ from Habiba bakery recommended by Mariko was a great refreshment prior to climbing up to the historical Citadel and then Roman Theater.

King Abdullah I Mosque and King Hussein Mosque are also worth visiting with their eye catching Islamic art and architecture.

Mariko recommended many things to do such as walking down Rainbow Street and places to drink and dine.

Visiting the rose city of Petra was the highlight of my trip.

The 3 hours journey was easy in a comfortable vehicle driven by Mohammad.

At the Petra entrance I met Ahmed, the English speaking tour guide, who was very knowledgeable and patient and able to answer any questions.

Spending a night at Oasis Camp site at Wadi Rum with their amazing service, traditional dinner and breakfast followed by a morning desert safari was another unforgettable memory.

At the end of the tour I arrived at Movenpick Resort Dead Sea to experience mud mask and floating on the Dead Sea (tried to drown but wasn't successful) .

On the last day of my stay in Jordan, I visited the ancient city of Jerash which is considered one of the largest and most well preserved sites of Roman architecture in the world outside of Italy.

Then I visited the Cave of the Seven Sleepers which is an archaeological and significant religious site in a village to the east of Amman.

Overall I found Jordan very safe, clean، quiet with very kind and hospitable people and rich culture.

I came back home from Jordan with countless great memories which wouldn’t have happened without Mohammad and Mariko who are now friends for life.

Finally huge thanks to @Ibrahim Eldeeb "Egypttoursplanner" for recommending "Jordan marvels travel."'
