Day 1 Airport - Amman
Upon arrival in Amman, the capital city of Jordan, you will be greeted at Queen Alia International Airport. - Spend the rest of the day unwinding at your hotel in Amman before settling in for the night.
Day 2 Amman - Madaba - Mt Nebo - Bethany - Karak Castle - Petra
After enjoying a complimentary breakfast at your hotel in Amman, you will be taken to Madaba, the holy city, to witness the 'Mosaic Map', a 6th-century map preserved in the Greek Orthodox Basilica of Saint George. Next, you will head to Mount Nebo, a place believed to be where Moses saw the Promised Land. Then, you will visit ‘Bethany beyond the Jordan’, considered to be the baptismal site of Jesus Christ, a significant destination for Christians in Jordan.
Traveling south on a highway, you will explore Karak Castle, constructed in 1142, one of the largest Crusader castles in the region, before continuing to Petra. In Petra, you can relax at your hotel for the rest of the day. For a unique experience, you may want to consider participating in a hot air balloon ride or attending the Petra by Night show (additional cost). Spend the night at a hotel in Petra.
Day 3 Petra - Dead Sea
Indulge in a complimentary breakfast at your Petra hotel before setting off on a guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Discover Petra, a settlement dating back to 7000 BC, with must-see attractions like the iconic Treasury building located at the end of the narrow Siq passage.
Explore the Royal Tombs, Theatre, City Centre, temples, and ascend the 900 steps to reach the Monastery building perched on the rocky mountain.
An alternate path is available for those who prefer to avoid climbing numerous steps.
In the afternoon, depart from Petra to the Dead Sea.
Relax at a Dead Sea resort or choose to float in the salt lake, capturing the quintessential image of reading a newspaper or book while effortlessly floating. Embrace the natural beauty and appreciate the therapeutic qualities of the Dead Sea. Witness the stunning sunset over the Dead Sea before spending the night at a lavish resort.
Day 4 Dead Sea - Airport
After savoring the complimentary buffet breakfast at your Dead Sea resort, you have the option to spend the morning either swimming in the resort pool or enjoying another soak in the Dead Sea. Later, check-out is at noon, and transportation back to Queew Alia International Airport will be provided.
